You know, dental laser technology has taken over dentistry. And we use it a lot of different ways. We can use it to help treat gums. We can get rid of ulcers. We can do gum work or take away frenum. That's in many cases without any anesthetic, all the way to doing cavity preparation, taking away, you know, part of the tooth structure and doing it comfortably with no anesthetic. So dental lasers have really changed the way that we look at things. We've had lasers in this practice for 15 years. And as the new technology has come along, we've continued to stay up with this laser technology. And patients appreciate that. When they come in, they expect to see the latest and greatest technology. And that's where dental lasers stand right now in dentistry.
I can't even imagine what it's going to be like over the next 20 years as far as cavity preparation and tooth preparation. I couldn't believe if you could actually take away gum tissue without numbing somebody and they don't feel it. That's pretty amazing. I've had the laser on myself and I—my kids, we've done different procedures using the laser. And it is absolutely incredible.
